League Rules:
Section 1 - Rosters
Rosters consist of 25 players. This number will be standard throughout the duration of the league. In addition to the 25 active players, there are 10 N/A slots for prospects and demoted players. Also, there are 5 DL slots. This allows a maximum of 40 players on a roster.
Section 2 - Keepers
Each year, teams will keep 20 guys, who will be slotted at the back of the draft. There are no restrictions on keepers.
Section 3 - Prospects
In addition to the 20 keepers, up to 10 N/A players may be protected going into the following year's draft. These players must be in N/A slots at the end of the season and meet MLB rookie requirements (under 130 ABs for batters; under 50 IP for pitchers). If a protected player is taken during the draft, the draft will continue and the player will be dropped afterwards. Hint: keep the list open during draft or pre-rank players and remove protected prospects.
Section 4 - Trades
Trades are expedited quickly in this league. The main sources of vetoes would be obvious collusion and gross unbalance in a deal. There are 3 co-commissioners whose duty it is to decide trades involving the main commissioner. They may also decide other deals at request of the commissioner or an involved party.
Section 5 - Preseason Trades
Preseason trading is allowed leading up to the keeper deadline. Trades must be posted to the appropriately labelled thread.
Section 6 - Minimum Innings
Each week, managers must have a minimum of 35 innings pitched. This keeps people active and balances the need for pitching and hitting.
Section 7 - Limits
There are none. No maximum weekly/yearly moves, no trade caps, and no trade deadline will be found in the league.
Section 8 - Communication Decorum
Smack talk is encouraged, but not required. Keep private messages as they should be, however: private. Use of the app is also not required, but makes it easier to communicate in real time.
