hey guys! basketball season is almost back and it's time to renew the league.
if you're not interested in playing this year, please let me know and feel free to leave the league.
as mentioned last year, we would like to turn this into a keeper league.
rules have been:
- Allowed up to 2 keepers per year (can choose 1, or none)
- Based on prior year roster
- Keeper will increase 1.33x (rounded up to the nearest dollar) from what you acquired them at in the previous year
- Example - if you pay $90 for Anthony Davis this year, he will cost you $120 of your $200 budget next year. You would start with $80 at the draft instead of $200
- Rosters locked once you are out of playoff or consolation matchups
- If you choose not to keep any keepers, will start with $200 in the following year at the draft
- Players picked up off the waiver wire will be the cost you acquired them at
- Players acquired via trade are at the cost the original team acquired them at (via draft or FA)
- Minimum $10 keeper cost following year - so if you pick someone up for $3, following year keeper cost will be $10.
