Axel won their fifth consecutive game to open the season with a hard-fought win over Tucas, earning a 214.76-171.18 victory. It was the third consecutive loss for Tucas. Axel grabbed an early 11.00-point lead on Thursday. Tucas bounced back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Austin Ekeler (35.9 points) and Aaron Rodgers (16.88). Not to be deterred, Axel pulled it together later that night, as Mark Andrews (22.9 points) and Lamar Jackson (14.76) put them back on top once and for all.
