  • Gets one-year deal in Buffalo
The Bills are slated to sign Valdes-Scantling to a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Advice: Valdes-Scantling was released by the Chiefs back in February, and he now lands with another AFC powerhouse. Buffalo's revamped wide receiver corps, which lost Stefon Diggs via trade and Gabe Davis to free agency, could use a deep threat to complement Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel and rookie second-round pick Keon Coleman. Working as the No. 4 man on the depth chart could be an ideal situation for Valdes-Scantling to contribute, though if utilized only as a situation downfield target, he's more likely to slightly raise Josh Allen's ceiling than carry standalone value. Across 16 regular-season games last year, the 29-year-old compiled a career-low 21-315-1 receiving line. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:45 am

  • Back with Denver
Dorsett signed with the Broncos on Monday after being released Friday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Advice: The wide receiver spent 2023 with Denver's practice squad, playing in two games and not catching any of his three targets. The 2015 first-round pick has just 21 receptions over the past four seasons with four different teams. Now he'll get a chance to stick with Denver on a depth chart that includes 12 wide receivers. • Inks deal with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Drummond on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: The Eastern Michigan product was most recently with the Giants' practice squad, but he's now been given a new opportunity in Atlanta. Drummond's only in-game action came Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season with the Lions, playing a total of eight snaps and failing to record a single stat. Expect Drummond to compete for a depth role in Atlanta's wide receiver room as the offseason unfolds. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:45 pm

  • Latches on in Chicago
The Bears signed Swain to a contract Monday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Swain spent time on the Dolphins' practice squad last season, but he hasn't played snaps in a game since 2022, when he suited up for three contests with Denver and one for Miami. The 2020 sixth-round pick will have his work cut out to compete for a depth role in Chicago's crowded receiver room. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:15 am

  • Joining Detroit
The Lions are signing Davis to a contract after he attended rookie camp on a tryout basis, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Advice: Davis was waived by the Cardinals in late April after spending most of last year on the team's practice squad. He was active for one contest during the campaign but didn't see any snaps. The 25-year-old will get a shot to compete for a roster spot among a WR corps that is headed by Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. Rotowire.com May 12, 9:58 am

  • Lands in Detroit as UDFA
Calhoun has officially inked a deal with the Lions as an undrafted free agent.

Advice: Calhoun spent five seasons with Duke and concluded his final season with 666 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 50 receptions. The 5-foot-11 rookie is one of 11 wide receivers currently on Detroit's roster, so at best he'll surprise and land a roster spot and more realistically he'd work to earn a spot on the practice squad. • San Francisco bound
Owens has agreed to terms on a contract with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent.

Advice: Owens opted to declare for the NFL Draft after three seasons at Missouri State and ultimately went undrafted. His junior season was his most successful, as he recorded 528 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 28 receptions. The rookie pass catcher will now compete with a plethora of young pass catchers for the opportunity to either provide depth at wide receiver on the team's 53-man roster or a spot on the practice squad. • Lands in Cincinnati
Burgress has agreed to terms on a contract with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent.

Advice: Burgess, a SUNY Cortland product, finished his senior season with 1,375 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on 87 receptions. He will now look to prove his success was not just simply due to the level of competition he was playing against in college as he attempts to compete for a depth receiving role with the Bengals.
