RaferAlston11's Team was able to invest the fifth pick well and looks positioned for some nice returns over the season. The proceeds from this draft include an overall projected finish of first in TDL Advanced 2014 B League, as well an estimated 1,262 points and a record of 12-1-0. With six WRs on the roster, RaferAlston11's Team guaranteed the WR position was taken care of. Compared to the league average of 125, their WRs projected average of 130 points won't be much different than the rest of the wideouts around the league. They landed one of the most prolific groups of RBs in the league, as they added Eddie Lacy, Doug Martin, Ray Rice, and Trent Richardson.

While Week 11 has the most players on bye for RaferAlston11's Team (four), Week 10 is actually projected to have the team's highest amount of idle fantasy points. Taking a look at the entire season from start to finish, they have the softest schedule. In addition to having the easiest overall schedule, RaferAlston11's Team also has the league's second-easiest first four games and second-softest last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • If Drafting Running Backs is Cool

Then consider RaferAlston11's Team Miles Davis. They drafted four above-average RBs, even though only two can be started each week.

  • Earning Your Paycheck

RaferAlston11's Team will have some tough decisions to make at WR each week, with a scant projected points difference between their third- (Dwayne Bowe), fourth- (Cecil Shorts III), and fifth-ranked (Brian Hartline) wideouts.

  • Assessing the Assets

TE is the strongest position for RaferAlston11's Team, though RB and WR are also better than the league's average.

  • Was That Good for you, TDL Advanced 2014 B League?

By racking up the most projected points in the league during both the first and second halves of the draft, RaferAlston11's Team established itself as a fantasy contender.

  • No Back-Up No Cry

Ignoring roster depth, RaferAlston11's Team chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).

Player Analysis

    • Eddie Lacy, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 5
Does Eddie Lacy Enjoy Gourmet Cuisine?

Because his projected yardage figures are tasty. Lacy is ranked eighth in the league with 1,538 all-purpose yards.

    • Julio Jones, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 20
    Haters Gonna Hate

The rest of TDL Advanced 2014 B League overlooked a gem, and RaferAlston11's Team made the swaggiest pick of the round by grabbing Julio Jones.

    • Doug Martin, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 29
    Feed Thy Beast

    • Tom Brady, QB
    • Round 6, Pick 68
    A Super Duper Signal-Caller

Tom Brady is projected to rack up 302 points this year, enough to rank seventh among all QBs.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
