Watch out. Somebody let ChaosL's Team loose in the draft room. When the smoke cleared, all that was left was an elite squad capable of destroying opponents at will. They are projected to finish third in TDL 2014 D League with a record of 8-5-0 (1,237 points). With their first five picks, ChaosL's Team focused on a balanced offensive attack, selecting QB Matthew Stafford (50th overall), RBs Adrian Peterson (2nd) and Zac Stacy (23rd), and WRs Antonio Brown (26th) and Pierre Garcon (47th). They built the most prolific group of RBs in the league, as they have Peterson, Stacy, Frank Gore, and Joique Bell for their rotation.

Whether by good fortune or well-planned strategy, ChaosL's Team has secured a favorable bye week schedule for their superstars. Of their top five players in projected points, none share a common off week. Based on their opponents' projected points, they have the easiest slate. In addition to having the easiest overall schedule, ChaosL's Team also has the second-softest last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • Asset Management

ChaosL's Team is loaded at RB and DEF. Could they be willing to leverage some of that talent and listen to trade offers from other teams in TDL 2014 D League?

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

ChaosL's Team drafted top-3 players at a trio of different positions (Adrian Peterson, Alex Henery, and St. Louis).

  • Risk Averse

ChaosL's Team minimized risk by choosing six consistent players among their 15 picks.

  • Team of Champions

ChaosL's Team is rocking a team of fantasy MVPs. Last season, three of their players were among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams (Zac Stacy, Antonio Brown, and Matthew Stafford).

  • My One and Only

Ignoring roster depth, ChaosL's Team chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).

  • Mr. Mendoza

Joe Flacco is owned in only 5% of all Yahoo! leagues. Let's hope that a.) ChaosL's Team has some solid inside information, or b.) he's a close friend of the family.

Player Analysis

    • A. Peterson, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 2
    Does Adrian Peterson Enjoy Fajitas?

Because his all-purpose yardage figures are sizzling. Peterson is projected to rank fifth in the league with 1,641 total yards.

    • Zac Stacy, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 23
    Old Fashioned

ChaosL's Team stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, taking Adrian Peterson and Zac Stacy before targeting other positions.

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 3, Pick 26
    The Power of Persuasion

Now would be a reasonable time for ChaosL's Team to encourage the TDL 2014 D League to increase the value of receptions. They grabbed Antonio Brown and his 95 projected catches (ranked fourth in the NFL).

    • M. Stafford, QB
    • Round 5, Pick 50
Do You Know if Matthew Stafford is Religious?

With 310 projected points, ChaosL's Team is hoping Stafford will be the answer to their prayers.

    • Kendall Wright, WR
    • Round 6, Pick 71
    Apparently ADP is Overrated

With their sixth-round pick, ChaosL's Team pulled the trigger. They took Kendall Wright at pick number 71 despite an ADP of just 84.2 across all Yahoo! leagues.

Best Available

If ChaosL's Team is interested in making a roster move, QB is one area they could improve.

    • Ryan Tannehill
    • Rank 147, ADP 134
    • Michael Vick
    • Rank 229, ADP 122

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
