The GM of sAviOr's Expert Team took the first overall pick and handled it like a seasoned professional. After putting their sweet drafting skills on display for the rest of the league, they're left with a squad that's projected to finish third in TDL 2016 A League with a record of 8-5-0 (1,542 points). They used their first three picks on wideouts Antonio Brown (1st overall), Alshon Jeffery (24th), and Sammy Watkins (25th), giving them a competitive "500" team that should dominate the playground in no time. This group will have to produce in order for sAviOr's Expert Team to have a good season, as they are the highest-scoring group of WRs in the league.

Whether by good fortune or well-planned strategy, sAviOr's Expert Team has secured a favorable bye week schedule for their superstars. Of their top five players in projected points, none share a common off week. Taking a look at the entire season from start to finish, they have a less-challenging-than-average slate. Along with the fifth-easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are pretty average for sAviOr's Expert Team.

Draft Notes

  • Big D

sAviOr's Expert Team elected to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.

  • The Heist Is On

The other league managers passed over a diamond in the rough. According to ADP, sAviOr's Expert Team got a steal in snatching Graham Gano in the ninth round (97th overall pick vs. ADP of 83.9).

  • Returning to Greatness

If special teams contributions count in TDL 2016 A League, sAviOr's Expert Team may have found a gem in Ameer Abdullah. Including his 598 projected return yards, he ranks seventh in the league with 1,542 all-purpose yards.

  • Here's the Kicker

You could see decent numbers from the Falcons' kicking game. Even though Matt Ryan is expected to be a top-5 producer in passing yards (fourth with 4,551), he's projected to end up just 24th in the NFL with 21.8 TD passes.

  • Take One Play Off and He'll Burn You Deep

Matt Ryan is one of the most high-octane QBs in the NFL. Projections have him ranking fourth in both plays over 40 yards with 11.3 and TDs over 40 yards with 4.3.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
