  • Taj Bradley strikes out 11 in win
Taj Bradley blanked the Nationals over 5 2/3 innings in a 5-0 win on Sunday. He struck out 11 and walked two.

Advice: Bradley was dominant in this one. The 11 punch outs matched his season-high and the Nationals were helpless against his terrific fastball. Living in the top of the zone, it forced 10 swings and misses and brilliantly set up his diving splitter. Bradley looks every bit the top-end starter he was billed as. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago
  • Patrick Corbin gets through six innings in loss
Patrick Corbin allowed four earned runs across six frames on Sunday against the Rays. He struck out five and walked one in a losing effort.

Advice: The Rays smacked Corbin around in this one and he was fortunate to give up just four runs. The Rays had 12 hard-hit balls, nine of which were hit harder than 100 MPH. He’s earned every bit of his 5.49 ERA this season. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago
  • Returns from 7-day injured list
Double-A Richmond reinstated McDonald (groin) from its 7-day injured list Sunday.

Advice: McDonald has resided on Richmond's IL all season but is finally ready to join the Giants' Eastern League affiliate after an extended rehab assignment that first kicked off May 14. In 10 total outings between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and High-A Eugene covering 24.1 innings, McDonald turned in a 4.44 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago
  • Promoted, should pitch Sunday
Roupp (undisclosed) was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: The 25-year-old was on the injured list at Triple-A Sacramento with an unspecified injury, but he'll join the Giants after making three rehab starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. Roupp has a 5.27 ERA and 12:8 K:BB across 13.2 innings for San Francisco this season. According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, Roupp is expected to cover about three innings behind opening pitcher Spencer Bivens against the Dodgers on Sunday. • Falls apart in fifth
Schwellenbach (1-4) took the loss Sunday against the Pirates, giving up four runs on five hits over five innings. He struck out seven and walked two.

Advice: Schwellenbach cruised through four innings before running into a buzzsaw in the fifth, courtesy of two-run homers by O'Neil Cruz and Rowdy Tellez. He had a similar issue in his last start against the Cardinals, giving up all four of his runs in the third inning. The rookie right-hander has now given up at least four runs in half of his six career starts and has seen his ERA jump to 5.68. He's scheduled for a tough test next against the Phillies on Saturday.  Rotowire.com Today, 11:26 am
  • Gets fourth win
Falter (4-6) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta. He allowed one run on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Falter struggled with his command Sunday as he walked a career-high four batters but still did enough to get the win. He got out of trouble with double-play grounders in the fourth and fifth inning, and he managed to snap a streak of four straight losses. Falter had been having a dismal June prior to this start (0-4 and 6.63 ERA). He'll take a 3.87 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next start against the Mets. Rotowire.com Today, 11:24 am
  • Guardians demote McKenzie, activate Williams
Guardians optioned RHP Triston McKenzie to Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: McKenzie gets the boot with the Guardians bringing Gavin Williams (elbow) off the 60-day injured list to make his season debut this week. McKenzie has been awful on the mound as of late while allowing 12 earned runs and walking 11 over his last three starts. There’s still plenty of reason for long-term optimism as a 26-year-old who has had as much success as he’s had, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help in their rotation at this point. • Guardians reinstate Williams (elbow) off 60-day IL
Guardians reinstated RHP Gavin Williams off the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Williams will make his season debut this week against the White Sox after missing the first three months of the season with his elbow trouble. The 24-year-old right-hander is one of the most talented hurlers on the Cleveland roster, and while there may be some rust to clear even after making rehab starts, he is well worth fantasy consideration — especially against a team like the White Sox. • Returns to minors
The Cardinals optioned Graceffo to Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

Advice: The 24-year-old was called up Friday and made his MLB debut Saturday versus Cincinnati, and he pitched well in long relief with just one run allowed across 4.1 innings. Graceffo won't be available for a few days following that appearance, so Jacob Bosiokovic will come up as a fresh bullpen arm. Rotowire.com Today, 9:02 am
