    Cruz went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Rays.

    Advice: Cruz made plenty of highlights Saturday by blasting a home run into the Allegheny River, but he's slumped with only two hits across 19 at-bats during Pittsburgh's current homestand.     Wong went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Stephenson was back in the starting lineup after being held out for two games with an undisclosed injury, although he did pinch hit Saturday.     Advice: Benson was plunked during the bottom of the eighth inning and stayed in the game to run, but he was replaced by Nick Martini for the top of the ninth. Prior to leaving, Benson went 0-for-3, running his hitless streak to a career-high 21 at-bats. It's unclear if the injury will force Benson to miss much action, but it's unlikely he will be in the lineup Monday against Pittsburgh left-hander Bailey Falter.     Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single. Thomas' rehab assignment was paused the middle of last week then resumed over the weekend; he had six combined at-bats over two games in the Arizona Complex League and played seven innings in center field Saturday.     Gorman went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

    Advice: Gorman got aboard on a fielder's choice and picked up a steal for the second game in a row. The second baseman has gone 0-for-9 with a hit-by-pitch and two sacrifice flies over his last three contests. He's gone 17 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a poor .078 (5-for-64) in that span, though two of those hits have been homers. The slump has him down to a .194/.272/.421 slash line with 16 home runs, 36 RBI, five steals and 31 runs scored across 70 contests.     Advice: The steal was the first of Pages' young career, and Sunday also saw the rookie catcher log his first multi-hit effort. He's hit safely in six of his last 10 games, going 7-for-33 (.212) in that span to lift his season slash line to .155/.227/.276 over 66 plate appearances. Pages has seen a majority of the playing time at catcher lately, as Ivan Herrera was battling back tightness that ultimately landed him on the injured list. Pages is expected to slip back into a backup role when Willson Contreras (forearm) returns, though it's possible Pages maintains some steady playing time since the Cardinals value his defensive skills.
