  • Continues to rake
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: Rengifo singled in his second trip to the plate before swiping his 21st bag of the season and later coming home to score the Angels' first run of the contest. The third baseman would add another single in the seventh before coming around to score for a second time, giving him his fourth-consecutive multi-hit game as well as his fourth straight game with at least one run scored. Rengifo has really come alive on offense as of late, batting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10 contests with two homers, four RBI, three stolen bases and nine runs scored. His .317 average on the season puts him at second in the majors behind only Shohei Ohtani. Rotowire.com Today, 7:06 am

  • To visit specialist
Jung will visit a specialist Monday for evaluation of his surgically repaired right wrist, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Rangers pulled back on Jung's hitting progression Saturday for a second time this week. "A couple of days ago he was feeling really good," Texas manager Bruce Bochy said. "We were optimistic he would be swinging [Saturday]. There is still just a little soreness in there. We want to get rid of that before we ramp him up again." The team had prepared for Jung's return this week, but depending on how Monday's visit goes, he may not be ready until after the All-Star break. Once he's been medically cleared, Jung will require a ramp-up that could include more rehab games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:33 am
  • Steals base in win
Marte went 0-for-5 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Marte reached base and knocked in a run on a fielder's choice before swiping a bag and scoring as part of the Reds' six-run fifth inning. He notched double-digit steals in each of the last three years in the minors and is on his way to accomplishing that feat as a major-leaguer this season after notching two thefts in three games since being reinstated from suspension. After collecting three hits in his first four at-bats off suspension, Marte has gone 10 at-bats without a hit. Rotowire.com Today, 4:57 am
  • Crushes second homer
Noel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: In his fourth big-league game, Noel launched his second big-league homer, and it wasn't a cheap one -- the 22-year-old ripped a Cole Ragans slider down the left-field line in the fourth inning, and the ball left his bat at 115.4 mph. Per Mandy Bell of MLB.com, it was the hardest-hit home run by a Cleveland player since Statcast was introduced in 2015. Noel has started two of four games since his promotion, going 3-for-9 with a double in addition to the long balls, but the Guardians will find room for him in the lineup more often if he keeps displaying this kind of power. • Debuts as pinch hitter
Schunk went 0-for-1 on Saturday against the White Sox.

Advice: Schunk entered Saturday's game as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning to make his major-league debut. He had his contract selected Friday, though it's unclear how much playing time he'll receive with Brendan Rodgers and Ryan McMahon locked in as starters at second base and third base, respectively. • Homers in victory Saturday
Busch went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-3 win against Milwaukee.

Advice: Busch helped Chicago get off to a fast start by belting a two-run homer in the first inning. The long ball was just his second of June, though he's hit well outside of the power department with a .310 average over 24 contests. Busch has reached base via hit or walk in 21 of 24 games this month, and two of the three times he didn't do so were contests in which he didn't start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:57 pm
  • Goes yard twice in rout
Machado went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Saturday's 11-1 rout of the Red Sox.

Advice: The veteran third baseman launched a two-run homer in the third inning and a three-run blast in the fifth, both off Tanner Houck. Machado has hit safely in 10 of the last 11 games, batting .415 (17-for-41) with four of his 10 homers on the season over that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:09 pm
  • Reaches 10-homer mark
Vientos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Vientos has flexed his power recently with five homers over his last nine games. In that span, he's batting .324 (12-for-37) with seven RBI and 10 runs scored. The third baseman is at a .297/.355/.578 slash line with 10 long balls, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored, no stolen bases and six doubles through 141 plate appearances this year. As long as the 24-year-old continues to hit well, he should have no trouble holding onto a starting job at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:11 pm
  • Extends hit streak to 13 games
Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Kiner-Falefa singled and scored in the first inning and added another base hit in the fifth. He smacked an RBI single and scored in the sixth frame and then finished his huge day by doubling and scoring again in the eighth. The 29-year-old has put together a 13-game hit streak and seen his season average climb from .263 to .296. He also has seven home runs, 33 RBI, 32 runs scored and three steals over 277 plate appearances in what has been a surprisingly productive 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:32 pm
