  • Tallies three hits in loss
Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a double and a run Sunday in a loss to San Francisco.

Advice: Hernandez accounted for three of the Dodgers' eight hits in the contest as he recorded his first multi-hit performance since May 29. The utility man has remained an inconsistent part of the team's lineup despite injuries to Max Muncy (oblique) and Mookie Betts (wrist). Hernandez has started just three of the Dodgers' past seven games, and he carries a mediocre .208/.274/.312 slash line along with four homers and 12 RBI over 190 plate appearances on the campaign. • Blasts 31st homer
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 8-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Judge helped New York get off to a fast start with a 423-foot, two-run shot to center field in the first inning. He added a single later in the contest to notch his third straight multi-hit game, and the slugger has gone 7-for-12 with five RBI during that stretch. Judge had a monstrous June overall, slashing .409/.514/.864 with 11 home runs, 37 RBI, 25 runs and three stolen bases over 25 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 am
  • Wraps up huge June with three hits
Merrill went 3-for-4 with a double and a run in Sunday's loss to Boston.

Advice: Merrill was the only Padre to notch multiple hits in the contest, and he scored the team's only run after belting a one-out double in the seventh inning. The rookie finished June with back-to-back three-hit games, with half of his knocks during the pair of contests going for extra bases. Merrill swung a hot bat for most of the month, and he finished June with a .320/.346/.650 slash line along with nine home runs, 20 RBI, 17 runs and two stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:39 am
  • Davis Schneider is starting in LF on Monday
Davis Schneider is starting in left field for the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Despite Schneider not being a full-time player, this will be his fourth start in the team’s last six games. However, he is coming off a rough month of June in which he hit .163/.227/.300 in 26 games with a 28.4 percent strikeout rate to go along with three home runs. He no longer needs to be held on fantasy rosters outside of the deepest formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:37 am
  • Returns to bench role
Kiermaier is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Advice: Kiermaier had started both of the Blue Jays' final two games of the weekend series with the Yankees and six of the last eight contests overall, but he looks set to fill more of a fourth-outfielder role moving forward. His recent uptick in playing time was due in part to Daulton Varsho missing out on three straight starts due to a back injury, but Varsho returned to action Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:21 am
  • Rehab assignment put on pause
Davis had his rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona put on hold over the weekend after he experienced recurring concussion symptoms, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Initially placed on the 7-day injured list June 15 after experiencing concussion-like symptoms a day earlier in the Pirates' win over the Rockies, Davis was cleared to begin his rehab assignment last Wednesday. However, after appearing in two games with Altoona, Davis suffered an apparent setback and is now without a clear timeline to resume the assignment. With Joey Bart beating Davis back from the 10-day IL on Sunday, the Pirates may not have room for Davis on the big-league roster once his concussion symptoms subside and he's cleared to return from the 7-day IL. • Nationals designate Eddie Rosario for assignment
Nationals designated OF Eddie Rosario for assignment

Advice: The Nationals will move on from Rosario to clear a spot on their roster for top prospect James Wood. Rosario has had a really poor season for Washington, hitting .183/.226/.329 in 67 games; however, he does have seven home runs, eight steals, and a career-high average exit velocity of 90.6 mph. As a veteran left-handed hitter, Rosario is likely to find an opportunity somewhere as a bench bat. Perhaps his old team, the Atlanta Braves, will look to bring him back after injuries to Ronald Acuna Jr. and Michael Harris II. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:40 am
  • Outrighted to Triple-A
The Reds outrighted Burdick to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.

Advice: While no longer on the 40-man roster, Burdick will remain in the organization after clearing waivers. He will provide the Reds with some outfield depth at Louisville. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:10 am
  • Fills in at shortstop
Smith started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's 11-2 win over Baltimore.

Advice: Smith got the start at shortstop with Corey Seager (wrist) day-to-day. Seager was hit by a pitch during Saturday's game and, although X-rays came back negative, took a seat for the series finale against the Orioles. The Rangers are off Monday, giving Seager another 24 hours of healing, before a three-game set against the Padres. Once Seager is deemed healthy enough to return to shortstop, Smith will head back to third base, where he will continue to fill in for the injured Josh Jung (wrist), who may be back in the lineup soon, though the team is still evaluating him.
