Tonyk 77ers must have gotten some help from Ozzie Newsome, as they built a talented roster despite a late pick. Projections predict they'll finish first in Vince Lombardi Keeper League with a record of 10-3-0 (1,556 points).

Tonyk 77ers used all four of their keeper spots, stockpiling pass-catchers. They held on to three WRs among their keepers-- Odell Beckham Jr. (2.5 ADP), Kelvin Benjamin (57 ADP), and Emmanuel Sanders (86.8 ADP). On average, their four keepers are dramatically more valuable (by 26.4%) than the draft picks that they replaced.

While Week 11 has the most players on bye for Tonyk 77ers (four), Week 8 is actually projected to have the team's highest number of idle fantasy points. Looking at the entire season, they have the softest slate. In addition to having the easiest overall schedule, Tonyk 77ers has the most difficult last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • Like Choosing your Favorite Kardashian

Tonyk 77ers will have some tricky calls to make each week at RB, with a slim projected points difference between their third- (Theo Riddick), fourth- (Bilal Powell), and fifth-ranked (Jordan Howard) RBs.

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

At three different positions, Tonyk 77ers picked up projected top-3 players (Carolina, Odell Beckham Jr., and Chris Boswell).

  • Up, Up, and Away

With four players projected to significantly beat their previous year's fantasy points, Tonyk 77ers hopes to have found some up-and-coming stars.

  • The First Step is Admitting You Have a Problem

It seems like Tonyk 77ers likes to gamble -- they rolled the dice on six "high-risk" picks.

  • My One and Only

Ignoring roster depth, Tonyk 77ers chose only one player at four different positions (QB, TE, DEF, and K).

  • A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?

Tonyk 77ers grabbed a sleeper in Laquon Treadwell with pick No. 181.

Player Analysis

    • Jamaal Charles, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 13
    An All-Purpose Stat-Stuffer

Jamaal Charles is projected to finish ninth in the league with 1,438 total yards (1,096 rushing, 341 receiving).

    • Dez Bryant, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 16
182 Reasons for Tonyk 77ers to Appreciate Dez Bryant

Bryant ranks sixth in the Vince Lombardi Keeper League among WRs with 182 projected fantasy points.

    • E. Sanders, WR
    • Round 3, Pick 41
    A Bit of a Reach

Tonyk 77ers went out on a limb with their third-round pick. Across all Yahoo! leagues, Emmanuel Sanders has an ADP of 86.8, but he was grabbed at pick No. 41. Patience is a virtue, Tonyk 77ers.

    • Carlos Hyde, RB
    • Round 4, Pick 44
    Better Lucky Than Good?

The rest of Vince Lombardi Keeper League overlooked a gem, and Tonyk 77ers made the smartest value pick of the round by taking Carlos Hyde.

    • Antonio Gates, TE
    • Round 6, Pick 72
Was the 72nd Pick the Right Time for Antonio Gates?

Tonyk 77ers apparently believes so. The Chargers' tight end is projected to net 104 points this year, after putting up 93 last year.

Best Available

Tonyk 77ers is pretty strong across the board with no weak spots, but TE is one position they may want to try and upgrade.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
